Oh No!!!
Recently early one morning I went outside my house and found water bubbling up from under the driveway. I knew what this meant. The main water line from the street to the house had a break in it. I had received a text from the Southern Nevada Water Authority that we were showing higher than normal water usage, but I thought it was for a leak in the irrigation system which we had repaired. My husband shut the water off at the street after we filled jugs with water. I did not think our home owners insurance would cover since the break was outside the house. The adjuster confirmed this to be the case but....he did say this coverage was offered as an add on. These add ons can be $60 to $100 a year. Take my word for it, this is worth it. Of course you want to see what exactly the insurance will cover, but any help would be welcome on this costly repair.
